    Daisy - Lhasa Apso Girl

Post by yorkiegirl on Mon Apr 13, 2009 6:21 am

    NOW IN HER NEW HOME

Little Daisy has come in to our rescue as it was felt by her old owner that she needed a quieter life than she could offer her. It was said that Daisy was very nervous of the other 2 dogs in the house when they started to play/run around, but whilst she has been in foster care appears to have 'come' out of her shell a bit & playing with a little Yorkie Girl.
Her foster mum will be along soon (I hope Rolling Eyes ) to post a bit more on her.

    Hi

I am Daisy's Foster Mum. I have really enjoyed having this little one. She is going to make someone a lovely friend.

She is a lovely girl. Very quiet but has started to bark when her visitors come to the door now......greeting them. She loves her tummy tickled and to have a sleep on the sofa. Also loves 'cuddly' toys and throws them around with no regard for anyone or thing ! Not overkeen on walks but does it with no problems. Very good on the lead. She loves her dinner and is house trained.

After having Daisy to stay for a few days I feel that she would like to go to a home with no other doggies (but she is fine with them) so she can be the centre of attention. Perhaps a home with no children or only ones that visit.

I will try and post a photo of her but I am a computer novice so please forgive me if I don't manage it. I am sure Yorkiegirl will do so very shortly.

    Jailbird Very Happy

Well ...............what a quiet home I have.

Little Daisy has now left us for pastures new and my little on ASBO (see pet pics) has been looking all over the house for her.

Whoever adopts this little girlie will have a wonderful friend.

ASBO and I wish little Daisy a very happy and healthy new life xxx

Daisy has been here and is STUNNING. I tried to dognap her but that nasty old Sue was having none of it. Made some lame excuse about her being booked in for the chop tomorrow. Pah! But little smudge is back with me again. He has put on loads of weight!!

And as for you Ambermoggy. You get back to scrubbing your fishnets and leave my boomstick alone! Bliddy woman!!!

    Hi

I met little smudge today.............he is a little sweetie.

I thought you would like Daisy. What a lovely girl. ASBO and I are pining a little....perhaps we will go for a walkie and blow the thoughts out of our minds.

Enjoy smudge and give him a hug from us.

    Hi

I am very interested in Daisy. I am looking for a Lhasa Apso, and do not have any dogs so she would certainly be the centre of attention!

How old is she? What colour is she? Will you be posting a picture any time soon?

Do you know if she likes cats as we have 2? cat cat

Do I need to fill out an adoption form to register my interest?

    Thanks

Ok, looks like I am going to have to reveal this super little lady now. Thought maybe if I did not she would fad into the back ground & that would mean I get to keep her longer Very Happy
Pics really arnt very good as she is very camera shy, as soon as I aim it she runs away, maybe she wants to stay tooooooooooooooooooooooo Twisted Evil
    Meet Daisy

Daisy is perfect, cant fault her in anyway apart from being camera shy!!

Oh sorry, see I am still trying Very Happy
Daisy was 3 years old on 14th April. As for cats she is fab. We have two here, one big softie & one that can be a bit 'fiery' when she wants to be, but Daisy has not even looked at them, let alone chased etc.
As I said I really cannot fault this little girl at all.
I will take a look at your form in a bit & contact you as we need to get a home check sorted out.

Thanks, that would be great Very Happy

My 2 cats fit the description of yours so fingers crossed they'll get on. The fiery one is a house cat, and I don't think she's ever seen a dog, so that should be be interesting! She is part bengal and very much like one in her mannerisms, and they apparently prefer dogs to other cats, so I'm hoping she carries that trait. She rules our house 100%, I'm sure she was a princess in a previous life queen !!!

Who's dog is the Lhasa on the homepage here: http://www.theyorkshireterrierrescue.com he/she is lovely!

Thanks for all your help Yorkiegirl Very Happy

That was Bobby (& now for the stupid part, I can think of his new name!!) , he was a real beauty. Rachelnrocky had the pleasure of fostering him, and he was rehomed with relations of Rachel so she sees him often.
Will contact you tomorrow for a chat.
