PIPPIN - YORKSHIRE TERRIER - LINCOLNSHIRE

Post by yorkiegirl on Fri Jan 01, 2010 9:42 am

    NAME OF DOG- PIPPIN
BREED OF DOG - TOY YORKSHIRE TERRIER
    SEX OF DOG - MALE
    AGE OF DOG - 5 YEARS OLD D.O.B. 19.11.04)
    NEUTERED/SPAYED - YES
    VACCINATED - YES
MICROCHIPPED - NO TO BE DONE WHEN NEW OWNER IS FOUND
    INSURED - NO BUT RECOMMENDED
    OTHER DOGS - YES
    CATS -YES
    CHILDREN - YES (SENSIBLE ONES)
    APPROX WEIGHT - 1.5KG APPROX
    APPROX HEIGHT 6" TO SHOULDER

Pippin has come into our care as his mummy was no longer able to cope. His daddy died in July and his mummy is disabled which means that she is not able to walk or groom him. She is also having to move which is adding more pressure onto this already heartbroken lady. Pippin also is a daily reminder of the loss of her husband as it was he who did everything for Pippin.
It was a very hard & emotional act that Betty did for Pippin, I too found the situation very emotional also as this is truly a heart breaking decision that has been made for Pippins welfare. He is a very small little dog, but still needs long walks. He is off to Aunty Mulans tomorrow for his assessment period. I just know that she will keep you all updated (as long as she does not hide him all for herself Wink )
    Meet Pippin

Anyone wishing to be considered for the adoption of Pippin is required to complete an adoption form after reading all the adoption rules & procedures please.
The adoption form can be found by clicking on the red link at the top of the home page.

He has that little inquisitive look on his face like my Poppy, I can just see him really loving his long walks on a real little mission, completely removing any illusion that teeny dogs dont like to walk alot, youve got to love yorkies!

No a double Vodka, hence the smile on his face.
He is a very sweet bewildered little boy at present. Such a sad face peeping over the top of his bed.
He has his food & water in a cat bowl & last night just kept staring at the empty side so I went out to the kitchen & fetched some water in a glass & he drank it, so looks like he will have to continue now having water & food together.

what!!! that sue is so rubbish..I know that you have bright sunshine and have been sitting in the garden sunbathing.
    lol
I have snow down here and it is so lovely waking up each day to another white world..It is -2 at night and down to -5..thought that would be too cold for snow but it is happening all the same..
the sun next day melts most of it..but we have a thin layer of snow most of the time .

the trouble is sue lives at the northpole and it is -29..so that explains it..lol

We have a device across the front door like the metal detectors at airports, it detects 'dogs in pockets/bags so no way will you get past it. If you do all dogs are fitted with a 'self' exploding poo device
He really is so tiny & reminds me so much of poor little Benji who we sadly lost after a long battle.
He loves a cup of coffee as OH found out earlier after finding him head first in his mug

Me thinks that there will now be a conspiracy developing. Will have to make a mental note to 'not to be in' when you all knock at my door
