I'm as bad as you. I look on their website every few days and last night I scrolled through all the dogs. All the poor dogs that are dumped as they're no longer useful for breeding just makes me really angry. They aren't a money making commodity Evil or Very Mad

I was looking on there last night too......ended up feeling really misereable, couldn't afford to pay the adoption fee for another pooch at the mo, and there are so many of them needing loving homes....kept looking at this one westie in particular over and over..... Sad

Hi Loves ikkle pooches,Have you got room for another pooch, if so why dont you consider fostering this little one that you've seen and then maybe you could save towards adopting it. Or when they mean £170 for foster dogs, do you pay that to foster or do people wanting to adopt pay that for the foster dog. Just an idea Smile

I did look at that possibility, but they apparently don't need any foster carers for dogs, just cats. Maybe it's not meant to be for me at the mo Crying or Very sad

there is a special site for people wanting to foster. You log on and there is a list of dogs available, you just post which one you would like to foster and they get back to you. Give them a ring x

And like this site they do so many wonderful things , no good to me though as they only rehome ex breeding dogs to someone who already has a dog in the house, so that it can help the little dog who has never lived in a house , find its way , no wonder its called many tears it breaks your heart when you see them

I cant help looking on there either, theres a darling little yorkie girl of 5 on there, but there always so far away, usually up in Scotland the ones I see. There a cute little Chi cross nearer me in Birmingham but he has a number of issues and I think it would cause loads of problems with my boy Alfie.

Ah, I didn't see gummy but I did see Viennetta, she was 10 months old at her first entry in january and her foster family have just updated her details so she should be about 16 months old now. She looks such a pretty little thing, very simular to our westie we have already. she comes with no problems either and thats a bonus!!!! after talking to the family we decided to complete a adoption form which i done last night...so fingers crossed.
Hopefully will soon have 1 less many tears!!!

hi, I completed a application form on sunday for viennetta and thought i'd missed her as yesterdsay her details had been taken off the webbsite....then this afternoon i just happened to have a look at my junkmail and had an email off many tears telling me they had tried phoning me, and asked me to get in touch. so still none the wiser if she has gone or not. I did see vanish yesterday too. she's addorable isn't she!!!! still keep them crossed for me. :fingers crossed

Was Vienetta the westie with one eye ? That's who I kept looking at. But now I've seen Peggy the Shih Tzu.....Molly would love her, but they don't rehome to people with dogs that aren't speyed and Phoebe and Daphne aren't Crying or Very sad Such a shame I could give her the home she needs Love1
