LOUI - YORKSHIRE TERRIER - LINCOLNSHIRE

Post by yorkiegirl on Fri May 14, 2010 9:24 am

    NAME OF DOG - LOUI
BREED OF DOG - YORKSHIRE TERRIER
    SEX OF DOG - MALE
AGE OF DOG - 8 YEARS OLD
    NEUTERED/SPAYED - YES
    VACCINATED - YES
MICROCHIPPED - TO BE UPDATED AS SOON AS PAPERWORK IS RECEIVED
    INSURED - NO BUT RECOMMENDED
OTHER DOGS - FOSTER CARER TO UP DATE
CATS - FOSTER CARER TO UP DATE
    CHILDREN - YES
APPROX WEIGHT - TO BE UPDATED BY FOSTER CARER

Loui has come into our care as his old owner had to move to a place that sadly won't allow dogs.
This is what his owner has written about him, he was clearly a very well loved lad.

Loui has been living with the old owners daughter, but she has started a new job and he dislikes being on his own. It was felt that it was not right that he was left on his own all day he needed company. Otherwise he will worry.
He likes a cuddle, he's happy to play in the garden. He's not keen on the leash and pulls sometimes, so he has a harness.
He loves riding in the car. He's ok with other dogs once they've met, but will sometimes growl at them. He will bark at people who come to the door. Again he's ok once he has met them.
He likes to sleep on the end of the bed at night.
He has never been left downstairs at night time he likes to go to bed with his owner.
He has always had a dog flap to go in and out as he pleased.
He is up to date with his vaccinations & is microchipped.
    He answers to lou/loui.
He will be nine in Sept 2010.
He is not too keen on the grooming brush/comb,but he will let you use the brush and hair dryer on him.
He is ok with a shower.

I am sure that Joyce who is fostering him will be along soon to update you all & hopefully have some pictures for you all

Anyone wishing to be considered for the adoption of LOUI is required to complete an adoption form after reading all the adoption rules & procedures please.
The adoption form can be found by clicking on the here: http://www.yorkieandtoybreedrescue.co.uk/adopting.html

Loui was very nervous when came to me yesterday would not eat his dinner last night so covered it and put in the fridge, tried him this morning and he ate it. We have been for a walk around the park and he enjoyed that. I think he has fallen in love with my Blue who is a boy, they look exactly like each other in the face but mine has wavey hair and Louis silky and straight both th same colour

I went to my daughters yesterday for about half an hour, and when I came back I thought I had a different, dog when got back he was so happy to see me he jumped and danced around his tail was up instead of being bewteen his legs. And Blue, cowboy is exceptional you would`nt get a better dog if you design him yourself, he is lovely

LOUIE went from wet food to dry food, so thsat alone would make him drink loads more and then of course because his kidneys are working.../pee more..
