chicken in honey & wholegrain mustard sauce

Post by jaguar on Sat Sep 25, 2010 11:54 pm

hi just thought i would share this recipe as its what we are having today!!!!!!!

ingredients; to serve two (so its easy to multiply for larger numbers)
    2x skinless chicken breasts,
    1x clove of crushed garlic(optional)
half a glass of white wine
2ozx butter (this is better than marg)
    2x tablespoons honey
1x teaspoon wholegrain mustard (i use more cos i love it)
    1x small carton double cream

    veg of your choice
we are having brocolli, cauliflower & mange tout with new potatoes

    grill or steam chicken breasts

when cooked put to one side to rest

step 1; in a small frying pan put wine & crushed garlic & heat
step 2; add honey & mustard
    step 3; add cream
step 4; add butter stir quickly as this thickens sauce

the sauce should only take 3-4 mins to make

plate up chicken & veg pour sauce over chicken & eat i am so hungry pig and we arn't eating till 5ish

could drink rest of the wine i know we are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
