Just to let you all know that Molly has been found. She has been used as dog bait for dog fighting. The vial little creature that had her took her to the PDSA and said that he couldnt afford to get her better so told them to put her down if they had to!! She is wounded but ok and is having surgery this afternoon and should be back to herself in a week. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way it is much appreciated xx

affraid What a horrific thing they have done to poor Molly. affraid
So glad to hear she is found and having her wounds dealt with so quickly.
Hopefully she will be back home with the people that love her soon, gets well and has the love so deserves.
I am sure the family will be very happy to have her home.

I was shocked when the owners came to my door and said she'd been found after been missing a month but so happy for them. My husband Paul had been posting posters around the bus station and there was a sighting near there yesterday so we think it was a case of 'get rid of the dog'. The owners are pursuing it with the police and I wish them all the best.

Just an update of the rollercoaster time since Molly was handed in .Her owner has put photos of the wounds on facebook and they are horrendous to the extent her lung was punctured and collapsed, and the vets have been fighting to keep it inflated.
Good News Molly is now back at home in her bed as if nothing has happened but has left the owners with huge vets bills and she has to go back on wednesday for another xray.
The RSPCA know who handed her in and that he has previous for animal cruelty but Molly's owner gets the impression they wont be doing anything which makes alot of people angry. So the police are now involved and she wants people to know that dog fighting does happen as many people left comments like 'omg I didnt think things like that happened' and wants to go to the local newspaper about it. I feel I have to back her as when someone tried to snatch Kara earlier in the year, the first thing the police said was it was probably to use her as dog bait.which makes feel sick to even think about.

My friend rescued a Staff years ago that had been used as bait affraid She had cigarette burns on her and even years later you had to be very careful putting your shoes on as when you raised a foot she would cower affraid

She ended up being the most beautiful dog and so sensitive to humans, my boys grew up from babies with her, she used to lay by their carry seats with them. She was so gentle that she could eat a raw egg without breaking the shell (suck the insides out Very Happy )

Up until the day she died Jess was never any good with other dogs but she was a truly fantastic girlie. I really hope that Molly makes a full recovery. Lets hope the police will prosecute the guy Very Happy
