just thought i would share this one with you as its what we are having tonight.
ingredients;
1lb diced lamb
2x tablespoons plain flour
1x tablespoon of oil
1.5 pints lamb or chicken stock
1x onion diced
3x carrots peeled & chopped into chunks or diced
1x small swede peeled & diced
2x tablespoons of mint sauce
salt & pepper
method;
step 1;
into saucepan put oil & heat add lamb then flour stir until meat is browned
step 2;
into slow cook put all veg & stock add meat & mint sauce
step 3;
leave all day on low heat if you like a thicker gravy thicken with gravy granuals at end of cooking season to taste i only add cracked black pepper to taste
this is lovely served with roasted root vegetables & potatoes or just with crusty bread
