    UPDATE

Mimi has been spayed recently and recovered really well. She is a lovely dog. Not interested in playing either with toys or other dogs. Even though the resident dogs have tried to show her how to play. She loves cuddles and is an easy going dog

I have had dogs in for foster and they have taken a few weeks to start playing with toys, like Taffies for one, she would not play with anything, but did start before she went to her forever home, she was here since October so needed a few weeks. Smile

    An mini update on Mimi,
She will not accept male dogs un-neutered as this was found out the other day.
Mimi doesn't relax whilst sitting on laps.
She will not be suitable for children so we cannot home her with youngsters.

I think it might be possible I have had Misty since June and she is only just starting to play more and sit on laps, not saying for definite though. Still waiting for her to stop growling at me when its time for bed.

Some dogs take a lots & lot of love, buckets of understanding & patience before we can turn them around and show them life is good, they do not need to be so wired all the time, but can relax and have fun

aww jessica that is such a shame Crying or Very sad it's horrible when your heart is set on a particular dog and it doesn't work out, though i have seen on many occasions that theres a reason for this .... that the perfick dog for you is just around the corner and is the one that is ment to be your new companion. so please don't give up as it just means the right doggy is putting off all the others so that you find him/her Cool
