i have just been told about this web site off Rotherham dogs care centre as i am looking to adopt an older yorkie....but one that is able to live in a home with another dog as we already have little 9 year old mitch. I feel really sorry for one of them she is 16 !

I just saw one who is 16 Charlie who is staying with her fosterer now as has had a mild fit, and they feel she is to frail to move now.
I did not see the one she came in with as they say was eating all this ones food and bullying and was not in a very good state thin etc

It is not always easy to find the right dog they all look so sweet, but many have issues.
Cowboyz has been searching for a long time, but knowing her she will not give up and will find just the right dog in the end.
It sometimes take a bit of time and patience to adopt the right dog for your family.

Hat off to you cowboy, I admire your patience you will find him/her soon.

So sad to see these babies with no home. I am tranporting 2 poundies on Sunday to Hull and when I looked at the website of the Rescue I am delivering them to, there are 3 yorkies - I will have to drop them off and not venture into the rescue

It is the Sunnydene Animal Shelter in Pinfold South Cave - I saw on the website they have 2 older yorkies and one young little girl - quite nervous. I know it sounds silly and I will get a lot a bad comments, but liitle ones in a kennel just melt my heart. I am transporting 2 big ones (they have there welcome pack ready - courtesy of Pets at Home)

Obviously I had to have a nosey. The 2 yorkies went to their new home today and there was a lovely couple lookin at little Meg. I was surprised - they ask £350.00 for a thorougbred affraid Meybe we should look at our prices?? Did I follow the rules " do not put your hand in the kennel

When I was at the Rescue, they said there was a lot of interest in her. It is so sad, she runs up to the kennel dorr and wags her tail madly and jumps up Sad . If I had not adopted my little Lola, I would of taken her immediately!
