    Playing Hunt the Kittens!!

Post by yorkiegirl on Mon Sep 14, 2009 4:54 am

Long story but we have had 3 tiny kittens handed to us today & now I am playing 'Hunt the Kittens' Rolling Eyes . They are so tiny the little buggers seemed to have vanished, but I know that they have not gone out side as the middle door was shut. Found one just before I took OH back to work which just left 1 more to find, put them in the spare room with dirt box, food & water & put a 4" barrier up across the door, came back to just 1 again. Really running me ragged, any suggestions as to where tiny kittens hide & anyone want them Laughing

cheers Found the little blighters!! They had got into a small cardboard box with bubble wrap that we put under the cat scratching pole. It was the popping that gave them away, but as soon as I opened it they both shot out in different directions, so the hunt bagan all over again So room by room I seeked, closing each door behind me. Caught one in the drying/store room be hind the tumble drier & the other one thought it would hide under OH's pillow, but Porsche gave the game away They are now all safely installed in the boys bedroom & there they will stay tonight until I can put plan B into action (anyone got any ideas for plan B )

    Here are the little monkeys
This one we have named Charlie Jnr, he has no fear!!

These 2 are called Dip & Dazzle, both boys as well but very shy & skitish!!

Been wormed (that was emotional) & flead. Need a bath as a bit pongy, but will do that in a few days when they are easier to handle

8 dogs & 5 cats now affraid , feed time was the funniest as Barney has to have soaked JWB & Ceaser, Tilley is happy with Butchers trays, Bear like his JWB mixed with Butchers tin, little Bella the new girl is very fussy so did her half chicken/half Ceaser, my 3 get 2 flavours eat or go hungry & Scruffy when he is not chewing on my laces/ankles/feet has 3 hot dog sausages, some chopped ham & a bit of Ceaser (another fussy monkey). The cats well they were not too bad, 2 big ones have Whiskers & the kittens have had Kitten Whiskers.
Jugging who is going to eat where was also fun!!
Sleep occasionally, mainly when I am driving affraid lol!

Aren't they cute! We've only ever had one cat and he ended up with my friend after a few days, back when I was a infants school tot! I got him off my teacher and called him ginger because he had ginger fur. Original! ha ha! SO I don't know much about them.....hey Sue I thought you was a dog rescue? Are you sure you won't take kids in in that case? LOL!

    Hi
I foster tiny kittens, and those little ones can get anywhere!! I have found them inside buttoned up duvet covers, cd racks, closed shoe boxes, a million other places. At 6 weeks they can jump about 2 foot high with a run up, so you might need to look up as well as down!

lol! certainly keeping me on my toes cat , they are so quick & I am sure they are playing the tactical game. When the door is opened all run in different directions lol! I have had several kittens in the past, but oh boy are these hard work, got eyes in my bum.

I was going to suggest behind and inside the back of the washing machine that's where our wee ones used to go for some quiet time and to give me a heart attack thinking I'd lost them Wink

Beware though our Wally started out teenier than those gorgeous puddy tats and look what he grew into!! Oh and I must remember not to wake him up with a photo op....
