Hi,everyone,As some will know im am not really new,but due to my computer crashing,losing, because i had no backup,all my files,photos etc ,forgot all my passwords,anyway I have had to re-register .For those who dont know me, I live near the sea with my Yorkie Alfie who is 21months old. anyway am looking forward to catching up , and getting my daily fix Joyxx

I had the same thing happen to me not so long ago, my laptop went in for a minor repair and they replaced the hard drive, hadnt backed stuff up and lost it all, pics, passwords etc, then later decided to download the new windows 8, but when deciding to remove it you cant had to do a complete reinstall, even lost programs and basic stufff was a nightmare.

I had taken a of the slippers all together and it went .. must learn to back up to disc.. hope Alfie is being good .. must be time for some new when you have 5 mins and did you use a bottle of paracetymol .. I did.. what a headache are when they go wrong..

Thanks everyone its good to be back,I have learnt my lesson, I am backing up everything,the thing that upset me most was losing all my photos {memories} of Family,and all my dogs, holdays,in a way that is the only trouble with digital camera,s,Although,I did backup on photobucket but again I cannot remember password and they cannot send me it as I cant get into my old email acct.for same reason someone I know is going to try and get things off my old computer for me .Anyway as you said Gail, I am new again,I have a brand new Laptop so thankyou admin,no more of and more , Joy xx

It probably doesnt help you now, but for the future, if you have the pennies it might be worth investing in an external hard drive.. we have two, (my husband takes one with him when he goes away). About once a month I back-up all my files to the external. Just in case.

They can be expensive but worth it and saves trying to back up to discs.

back Joy! Sorry to hear you've lost your files, must be heartbreaking to lose the You must get snapping lots more new ones, not to replace the old, but just so you have some more

if anybody has the problem I had with my photbucket,then i have been fiddling with buttons and found ,you can sign in through facebook,so I have saved some of my photos joyxx
